Privacy Policy — Website and Educational Apps

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Info Media Innovation Co., Ltd. (บริษัท อินโฟ มีเดีย อินโนเวชั่น จำกัด, “IMI”, “we”, “us”) operates imi.co.th and publishes educational applications. This policy covers this website and our educational apps that link to this policy, including ad-supported (AD/ADs/Free) and ad-free editions. The advertising section applies only to editions that contain advertising. Other websites and services are not automatically covered merely because we link to them.

1. Educational apps: lesson data and ad-free editions

Our educational apps do not require an account to use the lessons. We do not ask children to submit their names, and the apps do not send children’s names, lesson answers or scores to IMI. Lesson activities and scoring run on the device. Where an app retains progress or settings, those records remain on the device; storage and backup behaviour may also depend on the operating system.

Ad-free editions do not use an advertising service to serve in-app ads. This does not mean that the app store, operating system, or an external website you choose to visit processes no information. Their services are governed by their own policies.

2. Ad-supported apps and Google AdMob

Our ad-supported editions use Google AdMob. The advertising service processes data separately from lesson answers and scores. Depending on the SDK version, operating system, permissions and configuration, this can include an IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions such as launches, taps and video views, diagnostic information, and device or app identifiers. These data support ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics, security and fraud prevention. The absence of a login, or the use of non-personalized ads, does not mean that no data leaves the device.

We do not provide children’s lesson answers or scores to Google for advertising. Advertising identifiers are subject to platform permissions and app configuration; they are not available in every edition. For the Android 1.2 (2026) release of “สนุกกับมาตราแม่ เกย (ADs)” (package air.imi2025.jingjaisandee.thai.adsapp034), ad requests are configured for child-directed treatment and users under the age of consent, with a maximum content rating of G, and the Android Advertising ID permission is removed. This version-specific description should not be read as a statement that every older Android or iOS release has the same SDK or settings.

Google’s handling of advertising data, retention and available controls is described in its Privacy Policy and information about services used by websites and apps. Device privacy settings can provide additional controls where supported. Disabling ad personalization does not necessarily stop all technical data processing.

3. Children and parents or guardians

Our lessons are designed for learning, including use by children. Parents and guardians can supervise app use and contact us about privacy concerns. Children should not submit personal information in public website comments or support messages. A parent or guardian can contact us on a child’s behalf. Advertising may involve the technical processing described above, even when a lesson does not collect a child’s name or results. Website registration and public comments are separate from the account-free lesson apps.

4. Information collected on imi.co.th

  • Accounts and support: if you register on the website or contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as a username, email address, profile details and message. We use it to provide the requested website feature, manage access and respond to enquiries.
  • Technical information: website operation and security can involve IP addresses, browser or device information, visited pages and related logs. These support delivery, troubleshooting and protection against abuse.
  • Comments: the comment form data, IP address and browser user-agent information are used to display comments and help detect spam. Comments and associated public profile details may be visible to other visitors. An email-derived hash may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile picture; see Automattic’s privacy policy.
  • Uploads: avoid uploading images containing location metadata or personal information you do not intend to make public. Other visitors may be able to access metadata in publicly available files.

5. Website cookies and embedded content

The website uses cookies for login, preferences and related website functions. The standard WordPress comment-name cookies can last one year if you choose to save those details. Login cookies normally last two days, or two weeks with “Remember Me”; display preference cookies can last one year. A login test cookie lasts for the browser session, and an article-editing cookie normally lasts one day. Other enabled services may set their own cookies. These website cookies are separate from the lesson apps.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser; blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or other features from working. Embedded videos, images or other third-party content may send information to the provider and use its cookies, particularly if you are signed in to that provider. Follow the provider’s privacy information and available choices.

6. Recipients and purposes of sharing

Website hosting, maintenance, communications and spam-detection providers may process information to deliver and secure the website. Google processes data for advertising in ad-supported apps as described in section 2. Gravatar and embedded-content providers process information when their features are used. A password-reset message may include the requesting IP address. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. Information posted publicly is visible to other visitors.

7. Retention and deletion

Website account information is retained while the account exists, subject to deletion requests and necessary legal or security records. Comments and their metadata may remain until removed, including to recognise follow-up comments. Support correspondence and operational records are kept for the purposes for which they were received and any necessary legal or security obligations; contact us about a particular record. Retention by Google and other providers follows their applicable policies.

You can request deletion of a website account, comments or other personal information held by IMI by emailing imi@imi.co.th. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or authority as a parent or guardian. We will explain any information that must be retained and the reason. The lesson apps have no IMI account to delete. Device-held app data can generally be removed through the device’s app-storage controls or by uninstalling the app; device backups may need to be managed separately. This does not automatically delete information already held by an external provider.

8. Security, international processing and your choices

We use HTTPS for this website and restrict administrative access. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information outside your country; their privacy notices describe their processing arrangements. Where applicable law requires additional notice, consent or transfer safeguards, those requirements also apply.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing. You may also raise concerns with the relevant data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request; do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where additional notice or consent is required, updating this page alone does not replace that requirement. Our Terms of Service describe use of the website and apps.
